Dear James,

after having seen two opinions of two wellknown conchlers, my suggest is
again Arion subfuscus (Draparnaud, 1805), as this slug will be around 50 -
70 mm, and the dorsal slime if you press the slug is orange (look with your
fingers). Limacus flavus (Linnaeus, 1758) will arrives 70 - 100 mm in length,
seldom a little bit longer 120 mm. Look if the slug has a keel ? This is it,
what the other conchlers didn't ask you.

Dear all, I have a slug question. Up here in Ohio, I have been seeing
many different kinds of slugs. One paticular type that interests me is
one
that is a light citrus orange in color. When disturbed, it creates bright
orange slime.
I have seen specimens of similar color, but some have grey undersides. It
is about 2 inches
long. Can anyone tell me what species this is?
