Alex,  I have a book (very old) that says Strobus pipus is found
Indo-Pacific.  This book is Van Nostrand"s Standard Catalog of Shells  2nd
edition 1967. I have a book Sea Shells of the World by A. gordon Melvin
1967 which also says Indo-Pacific.
