It can sound silly, but if you want to get an instant "refill" and some more
hours of use of your empty cartridge, shake it vigorously and put it back to
the printer. It won't save you money, but maybe some cents.

Canon BJC  4400, about $125, seperate color and black ink cartrige, (black
is about $6, color $10), prints clean, reliable. It's the printer I used to
print out the newsletter on , (operative phrase " USED TO")
