Since the last report in May, shelling has had to take second place to
opening the Pub, a new bar/restaurant in General Luna, Siargao Island. (If
you ever find yourself around these parts do try our blue marlin steak ($2)
or our prawns in tuba wine batter ($2). You might even want to try our
Spaghetti Marinara which has various molluscs mixed in with it. The beer is
only 30c a bottle.)

Netting has not been so fruitful in the past two months. It seems to be
juveniles season, although we did get one very nice Conus bullatus and
several unidentifiable murex.

This messaage cut short because I've just bought the weekend's provision for
the Pub, and am rushing to get the boat home
