Just to be a little more specific, it does extend slightly southeast from
Pensacola, but further from shore.  Destin is a favorite harbor for
fishermen and divers, since boats can reached it more quickly from there.
It comes to an almost sharp point there.  From Cape San Blas, it would be a
southwest trip, but a longer one.
