Dear Conchlers,

to all collectors, where I've sent Chilostoma cingulatum cingulinum
(Strobel, 1884). After Gerhard Falkner in the book "Erlebniswelt
Alpen", printed in 1998, the name cingulinum is just preoccupied
by Deshayes, 1839 for a ssp. of Chilostoma achates.
The new name suggested by Falkner, 1998 is

Chilostoma cingulatum peregrini n. nom

in honour to Pellegrino (or Peregrino) Strobel, who described
in 1884 this species as Chilostoma cingulatum cingulinum.

Please change the name into

Chilostoma (Cingulifera) cingulatum peregrini n. nom Falker, 1998.

with best shelling greetings and hoping of confirmation of this
name.
