Yes, probably Anomia species. Some Baja fishermen use a sort of woven bag
to trap murex (?) and leave them in the water a long time. I've seen piles
of these bags, torn and very worn, on shore. They had lots of attached
Anomias plus some arks and Lophas on them. It wasn't bad hunting!
