Hi,

From Newfoundland I received recently one Neptunea despecta tornata.
One of the syn. for N.despecta despecta L., 1758 is
Fusus tornatus Gould, 1840.

What is N.d.tornata then, just another syn. or a valid (sub)species ?
If N.d.d. and N.d.t. are not the same, what's the difference between them ?

Best regards, Milan
