Hello Everyone, Here are the results from our shell show which was held this past
weekend in Atlantic Beach, N.C.  Harry Lee and Chris Takahashi were our judges.

DuPont Trophy:  Dean and Dottie Weber (Offspring--How Life Begins for Marine

Shells)
COA Trophy:  Vicky Wall (Invasion of the Exotic European: The Zebra Mussel)
Hugh Porter Trophy:  Vicky Wall  (Self-Collected Shells from the Western
Atlantic)
Best Shell of Show:  Doug Wolfe  (Conus granulatus)
Best Self-Collected Shell of the Show:  Mark Johnson  (Conus arangoi)

The winning fish in the King Mackerel tournament, also held last weekend in
Morehead City:  53 pounds!!!

P.S.  For all of you Florida folks, we will be thinking of you and hoping for the
best as Floyd approaches.  Please be careful and let us know how things go.
