Don't know about the riest of you, but my husband and I used to be
self-collected purists. Then I got to thinking - since we moved from
Florida, the only show-quality shells we had collected while on selling
excursions probably averaged about $1,000 per shell. We decided the bourse
at COA was quite a bargain. Particular since we get older and it gets
harder to self-collect.

However, none of the purchase shells will have the meaning to me that the
self-collected ones do. Each shell brings a memory and sense of pride.\
