Hello Bob,

According to conchology.be T.A.Conrad had only one publication in 1852:

1852. Conrad, T.A. Description of the fossils of Syria, collected in the
Palestine Expedition. In: W. F. Lynch, 1852, Official Report of the
United States Expedition to explore the Dead Sea and the River Jordan,
211-235, pls. 1-22 (Appendix). Ed. John Murphy & Co., Baltimore.

The report is available on Google Books:
https://books.googleusercontent.com/books/content?req=AKW5QadVyN_NDUfdKkajxZzH0As3y9GFbxeFI0rnCxmR1v8BBt8Flt6J9nBcJT_AWRzmUCLKOZ-Vu4KpwbjQFRYuo0qqrQ2baNQENHTM4rNSQXi3KbvhUUc-t8stnU0j89TL0ydklKYZslUgtAqWgVkSRLMLqrDzeLBkSBfghSUtyT192m6xIZi6zSGNCm0FC8HSVo442cPmSRMFyrcUJrDCNeQTqtqIpZTfEJgNIWeb9QN_jsXTLLSaUsZFreGtZJ3NEUNIHhlMcADHC6Eg0TMUNl2SbEgipGbqrLWc794dFcvobWjy4oQ

I'm aware that this doesn´t solve your problem directly, but perhaps it
helps in comparing your specimens with the original description to check
if it's the same species (but then under its original name).

Best regards, Erick Staal
