Folks,
I may be lossing my mind, and one or more of you may be able to help me
find it! I thought that I came across a paper, published recently (ie last
15-20 years) which presented a classification of the family Muricidae. I
thought that it might have been in Tulane Studies of Geology and
Paleontology, or American Conchologist, or La Conchiglia, or World-Wide
Shells. The problem is I can find no such paper in any of these
publications. I do not have all of the issues and I may have missed it due
to "gaps". If anyone recalls such a publication, please let me know where
I can find it. As I recall is was a list, not well illustrated if at all.
All I was able to find was a paper by E. Vokes in Amer. Conch. where she
listed the genera and subgenera in the family Muriciade; however, no
species were listed.
Thanks.
Regards,
Charlie
