I have it on high authority that naturally-occuring (as opposed to
man-made!) orange-colored Conus bandanus are rare as the proverbial
"hens' teeth". My question is: how can one tell for CERTAIN that an
orange bandanus in your hand is doctored or not? There must be a
relatively simply way of doing it.
