Dear Olivier, regards to you and friends!
The species from Tubuai is Nassarius (Zeuxis) acuminatus (Marrat, 1880)
and is illustrated in Cernohorsky (1984, Systematics of the family
Nassariidae, pl. 27, fig. 4 - holotype 29.7 mm).
The species Nassarius elegantula (Schepman) is a synonym (see fig. 6).
The species' previous known easterly distrtibution was from China to Papua
New Guinea and North Australia.
