Hi Sylvia,

I was in Panama a few years ago. The Caribbean shelling is more of a challenge at least in the vicinity of Portobelo (but it's a gorgeous historic town).

On the Pacific side, there was some decent shelling at Pedasi.

No worries about taking shells that I've been aware of.
