Continuing Rosesea's suggestion of a mentor to assist newcomers in shell
clubs, I would like to offer some comments.
Such a mentor as you mention from your Houston club is on Conch-L and he does
a wonderful job of encouraging and helping shellers who visit Florida. He is
working on a video of good shelling spots in northern Florida to help
clubs/individuals who are interested in this information. I can't wait until
he gets the video up and running because I can see it will have a great
impact on some new members in our SC Shell and Marine Life Club here in the
Myrtle Beach area. This man's name is Jim Miller and I personally owe him
many thanks.
