I very much agree with Kevin. I have seen the type of this shell, and it's
label says Benthastelena katherina (because that is the only species in
this genus). Now that intrigues me even more. Because it is not a very
common species from deep water. Are you sure that's what you have Andrew?
Because there is a species Corastele allanae, which looks rather like
Benthastelena katherina, but is much more colourful, from shallower water,
and also much more common
