NO! Dietary and environmental conditions do not affect the color characters
of Liguus. Little or poor food may stunt growth, plentiful food and humidity
enhances growth. Transplanted keys snails may grow to larger average size
in the Everglades because of better host (food) trees than the scrubby trees
on some key hammocks.

NO! There are no Liguus elsewhere than Florida, Cuba (and coastal keys)
and Hispaniola.
