Well they sure stay with you once you learn them!  I still remember the ones
we learned in first grade to help us with the spelling of arithmetic (A rat
in Tom's house might eat Tom's ice cream) and geography (George Edwards' old
grandfather rode a pony home yesterday).  Now, what would be a good mnemonic
device for Strongylocentrotus droehbachiensis??
