Good evening Conch-lers,

I would like to hear your opinions as to which shell identification book/s
would be the best for young people to start their new hobby with. Is there
a good book specifically aimed towards the younger collector? Please keep
in mind price as not all parents are willing to "shell out" big bucks when
collecting shells could just be another fly-by-night hobby that their
youngster is at present interested in.

I would also be interested to hear your thoughts on what shells should be
included in a starter collection for pre teens and teenagers. It would be
great if some of you commercial folks could offer such sets at reasonable
prices for children or educators to use Has or is such a kit available any
where?

Thanks in advance for any and all help and have a good day, evening or
night.

All the best,

Avril Bourquin
