Hi

Janthina everywhere at the moment, literally speaking that is. :-))) How big
do these shells grow? The largest I have from the Med is 3cm across and 2 cm
high.

Never heard of Janthina prolongata (but that doesn't mean much given my
limited expertise).

Now got Janthina janthina and exigua (thanks to Rosi). Anyone got any of the
others to trade. Would love to have a complete range of different types of
Janthina in my collection as this would give some credence to my, at the
present, rather mish mash collection of shells.

Ed

Philip

I have Janthina janthina from south and north Australia, South Africa
and Norfolk Island. Janthina prolongata from Uruquay and South Africa.
Janthina exigua from New South Wales (Australia) and Recluzia
rollandiana from central Queensland but I have nothing from Caribbean
waters.
