Art,

An excellent book is "Thomas Say, New World Naturalist" by Patricia Tyson Stroud, University of Pennsylvania, 1992, IBSN 0-8122-3103-1.

Regards,

Scott Jordan

Dear Andrew;-
Is there, to your knowledge, a decent biography of Thomas Say? His
connection to Cincinnati is that his "Types" were deposited with Columbia
College; which, in turn, released them to Dr. Brand---who donated them to the
Cincinnati Museum of Nat. Hist. We got 'em!
