Ricardo Melchor posted this request on the Skolithos listserver, which is
for ichnologists. I'll be happy to relay your answers to him.

Dear ichnofriends:
I found some time ago in the back yard of my home some interesting triangle
shaped traces (about 1 mm wide) arranged in a meandering pattern. They are
scraped on an algae-moss mat developed on unused roof tiles.

I suspect that these traces are radulation traces of garden snails, which
are fairly abundant in my back yard. Unfortunately, I could not caught any
of them feeding on these mats.

I am looking for bibliography on these kind of traces, feeding habits of
land snails, etc. and also on radulation traces in general.

Anybody is aware of this kind of traces by land gastropods in the fossil
record?

Any information will be welcomed!

Regards,
