Dear Conchlers,

I have some troubles with classifying an Olive shell. Last year I got an
Oliva as Oliva julieta from San
Jose, Guatemala, but I have troubles that this Oliva julieta. I believe it
has more the shape of
Oliva spicata, the Apex is quite pointed an the spire is somewhat higher
than in images of Oliva
julieta. The shell is maybe more slender that Oliva julieta should be. I
think that Oliva julieta has
more or less the shape of Oliva peruviana. What is with the locality.
Please any idea by the
members and olive-experts.
