I have a buddy who goes out on dive boats, and the boat captain allows
spear-fishing, but no shelling!!! Whats going on here? I say, If we cannot
collect in Lee county Florida, they should not be allowed to sell any
shellfish at all in their fancy restaurants or grocery stores either! The
tourists come and eat oysters on the half shell, calamari, imported conch for
fritters, clam chowder, and the list goes on and on! I can't pick up a dying
scallop on the beach, but I can go to one of their fancy restaurants and
order breaded scallops? HELLO!!!
