The Donax in Florida are being buried in 3-4 feet of renourishment sand!

All the tourist areas where the hotels and condos are....MUST have
beautiful big sandy, pristine beaches.  So Florida spends millions
pumping in sand to fill these beaches.  The sand is so deep, the Donax
cannot possibly dig their way up to the top.     AND the sad thing is
within a couple of years.....the sand is gone and it all has to be done
all over again!

WHAT A WASTE!
