You might want to add to the wonderful list Charlie so kindly provided for
fossil mollusk ID the newest of Petuch's offerings:
 
EJ Petuch. 1997. Coastal Paleoceanography of Eastern North America
(Miocene-Pleistocene).
 
I have just had a close look at it; it pictures species for the Neogene
from Nova Scotia to Florida, with an emphasis on Florida, of course.  It
also has separate chapters on the Siphocypraea and the Ecphoras, and on
coral reef fauna. (no new species)
