Oh Man, I need sleep!  That's what happens when you answer emails after
midnight!  I actually read Terebra maculata and thought Turbo marmoratus!
Sorry about that. I THINK the answer is still the same - pointed end of the
operc toward the pointed end of the shell (and pointed end of the
aperture) - but I am not as certain as I was on the Turbo!  Now, off to bed
to ease my tired mind.
