Dear all,

I was incorrect about the green algae filaments on my 3 1/2 inch (90mm)
Cymatium parthenopeum. There are numerous single filaments distributed on
the exterior as well as several groups of filaments. None of these are much
longer than 1 inch; most shorter.

No sign of any hard encrustations. Protoconch intact.

One other note. I set this specimen down in the path of a crawling Busycon
carica. The Busycon was heedless.
