It is a Melo broderipii (Griffith & Pidgeon, 1834), from Philippino waters.
Melo diadema (Lamarck, 1811) is junior synonym of Melo amphora (Lightfoot,
1758) from Australia and Timor sea. Melo broderipii bears four columella
plaits whereas its related Melo aethiopica (L., 1758) from Indonesian waters
has only three.
