After comparing notes with Harry Lee, we agreed that Veronica had obtained the shop from a distant cousin, named MacArthur.   However, from what other people said, Veronica probably bought Hano's stock subsequent to the time we were in New York.   I don't know if we ever ran into each other in the shop, but we both spent a lot of time there.   Again, I recommend her book for the enjoyment value.   It won't teach you anything scientific about shells that you don't already know, but it will be a sharing of the enthusiasm that shells can generate in our lives.
