If you are citing him as the author of a species it is just Lamarck, and the
date, if it is in a bibliography Lamarck, J.B., 1818-22. followed by the
publication, volume number, Paris. There is only one Lamarck. Some authors
however use Lamarck, J.B.P.M de, and the date.(seems a bit unnecessary but I
suppose every body has their own ideas.
