I would like to know Dr. Lee's secret on how he gets his patients to
keep such detailed and accurate data for specimens they pick up. I,
too, hound all our patients for whatever they find on vacation and have
never gotten anything more than stuff in a zippy bag, or paper towel no
less, with barely a word as to where, when, or how the collecting was
accomplished.

My best two specimens collected by patients were a beautiful Jenneria
pustulata (Lightfoot, 1786) from a beach in Costa Rica and a Harpa sp.
from Portugal.

Regards,
Lori Schroeder
