Dear Colleagues and Friends
I am finishing a catalogue on the Land and Freshwater mollusks of Brazil and
neighbor areas, with several collaborators. We have the intention of
illustrating all species. From the about 1050 species, most we have obtained
illustrations, but some still left. I am reproducing below a list of species
that we have no illustration. I wonder if anyone can help us in obtaining
any kind of figure of them.
We have preference for illustrating type specimens. In absence of these, we
prefer to figure the illustration of the original description or of a
revisional paper. However, other well-identified specimens can be also
considered.
We offer to anyone that helps us the inclusion in the set of collaborators
of the catalogue and possibly a copy of it.
Most species are in the current genus (not in the original one). The number
at left of each species is its position in the catalogue. I am available for
giving any additional information.
