Greetings. Regarding Chlamys classification schemes, I use Waller,
T.R. 1993. The evolution of "Chlamys" (Mollusca: Bivalvia: Pectinidae) in
the tropical western Atlantic and eastern Pacific. American Malacological
Bulletin 10(2):195-249, figs. 1-14 and/or Moore, E.J. 1984. Tertiary marine
pelecypods of California and Baja California: Propeamussidae and Pectinidae.
USGS Professional Paper 1228-B: IV + B1-B112, figs. 1-2, pls. 1-42. Both
have a rather Tertiary flavor rather than Cretaceous but are extremely
useful never-the-less. Good luck.

Aloha,

Lindsey T. Groves
