Here is another horror story. A friend bought two Mavica cams [Sony?]
with the floppy disk memory. He got them from "The Open Door Trucking
Company",
that is, a disreputable person, in original packaging.. One camera had
only half of the
LCD working [upper section]. The other did not work at all. He got them
for about 100.00US less than store price with discount. His bargain was
short lived. Could not return the camera
as the "Truck" disappeared. I think he tried a warranty repair but hit a
snag with that.
