I'd like to know too what those snails on the collar were.

Anachis translirata is known as Costoanachis lafresnayi Fischer & Bernardi
these days. It's somewhat larger than Mitrella lunata. I haven't seen them
in any numbers yet but I've seen many colonies of M. lunata.

I have an image of C. lafresnayi from North Carolina I can send if you
contact me privately.
