Dear Conch -Lers, I have exactly the same problem as Christa Schmidt with
attachments, and I do wish that our members would show more consideration.
The same applies to the many messages that should be sent privately, and
yet we all get them. I know it is very easily done - I have done it
myself, but the amount of trivial mail has grown to such an extent of late
that it could 'kill the goose that laid a Golden egg called Conch-L' - bear
in mind that many of us still have to pay for local calls, and it is very
frustrating to find when you have downloaded 50/60 E-mail that 80% should
never have been circulated to 'all and sundry.' I am sorry to introduce a
discordant note, but I feel that it is worthwhile airing these views rather
than remain silent and see an excellant service choke itself to death.
Yours sincerely Stanley Francis.
