David & Marlo:
FYI - on localities for materials associated with these works:
Abbott 1974 Eastern USA (Florida)
Warmke & Abbott Puerto Rico
DeJong & Coomans Netherlands Antilles (Bonaire, Aruba & Curacao)
Kiener ?

Best Regards,
Leslie Allen Crnkovic

Marlo,
OK, Hyalina lactea Kiener as depicted in Abbott 1974 is obviously different
from the photo in Warmke & Abbott's Marginella lactea Kiener.

Did Kiener name two marginellids in different genera with the same name?

DeJong & Coomans refer to Hyalina lactea, so I guess they like that name.

I've got images of a couple of my Anguilla "lactea" specimens. They are
about 7mm in length.
David
