Dear colleagues:

Trivia candidula Gaskoin, 1836 was recently reported by CLEMAM database as
a misidentification of Trivia bitou Pallary 1912. I think T. candidula is
seen today as an american species and T. bitou as an european species.
However, as the Azores received species from both sides of the Atlantic
(although only about 10% from the western Atlantic) I would like to know if
you could provide me information about the actual taxonomic status on these
two species. Good pictures and descriptions of both species would also be
welcome.

Best wishes,

Sérgio
