Dear All,



Yesterday I mailed around Marine Life for Conchology, Inc, with 6
photographs of a Tonna perdix attacking a holoturian.

I shot these photos 12 m deep, south Siquijor, the Philippines, during
a night dive. The attack lasted hardly longer than 5 minutes.

Yesterday evening when discussing with my friends around a good wine,
we came up with the idea that the holoturian did not eject his
Cuvierian tubules.

So, should there be a possibility that this perdix was just milking in
some way the holoturian and eating the Cuvierian tubules ?

Any other observations or statements on this ?
