My dears;-
   There may be another approach to keeping your shells clean. After all, you aren't planning to have them preserved for the next couple of millenia are you?
   Just look at them every so often---and if they need it---re-clean them. It gives you something to do. We do that with other things, dusting, sweeping, etc. And, you may be surprised to know, I even clean myself---almost every April---whether I need it or not.
