Sorry Andrew, not so fast. If you really want to leave, and you should
reconsider as we can all use a bit of input from a Kiwi, then you have to go
to: http://www.listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=conch-l&A=1 and fill out
the form.

The five messages per day limit is an arbitrary, but I think useful, limit.
It prevents drawn out diatribes from developing between a couple of members
and stops multiple entries from being fired off from a single computer in
error. While the number is arbitrary, the reason it was established is
based on a specific problem way back when. Conch-L is a great a source of
shared information and knowledge, and one of the very few areas where
amateurs and professional can freely interact. The established limits have
kept this list serve from dissolving as I have seen happen to other lists.
I, for one, have learned a tremendous amount from the various members of
Conch-L. Hang in there and try sending that message the next day.

Tom E.

I am tired (and frustrated!) of having postings rejected because the
exceed the absolutely arbitrary daily limit of 5 that the list folk
choose to set, and which they could raise (or remove) at any time.

Therefore I am unsubscribing as soon as this is sent.

I have enjoyed being on the list, but...

All the best to everyone.
