Hi Conch-Lers,
A consultation: The species "Scala (Nitidoscala)eburnea (Potiez & Michaud, 1838)", mentioned for Southern Brazil (Santa Catarina State)in the historical contribution of Morretes (1949, p. 81)(*), now it is referred as a synonym of "Epitonium eburneum (Potiez & Michaud, 1838)".
Even so, I ask: Is "Epitonium eburneum" a valid species, or just a synomym of another one ??? ...
(*)Ref.: Morretes, Frederico Lange de. 1949. Ensaio de aatįlogo dos moluscos do Brasil. Arquivos do Museu Paranaense,7(1): 5-216.
Thanksfull in advance to all for the possible answer.
Ignacio Agudo.
