Paul Kersten and i are working hard on the "First Edition" of the
Conidae Checklist. There are some taxa which are still giving us
headaches, however!   Conus armiger clarki Rehder & Abbott 1951 is one
of these.   Can anyone supply photos and/or info about this one from the
Gulf coast of the USA?  It is elusive.... it may be a subspecies of
armiger, or it might just be a plain old-fashioned synonym or a form of
some sort - we simply don't know at this point.

 From the last night of summer (but hopefully not the last summer
night!!) or 2005 in New Scotland,
