This is to announce that the drawing for the Philadelphia Shell Show valentine raffle was held today, Wednesday the 12th of October. The ticket was drawn by David Rusenko, Chief Financial Officer of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, and the drawing was witnessed by Paul Callomon, President of the Philadelphia Shell Club together with Dr Gary Rosenberg, chairman of the Department of Malacology.
The winner was Sandy Dowling of New York, to whom the club extends its congratulations. On behalf of the club, I would like to thank everyone who took part in the raffle, and especially to thank Jane Santini, who made and donated this splendid prize.
