Hey CONCH-Lers,

What is the difference between Cymatium (Ranularia) pyrulum and
C.(R.) springsteeni. I have a number of specimens from the
Philippines that look very much like the three photos by K.
Sangioulogolou on the following pages:

http://www.gastropods.com/2/Shell_7922.html

http://www.gastropods.com/3/Shell_7923.html

Are all three of the Sangiologlou photos the same species, and if so
which species?

Regards,
Peter Egerton
