As humans have yet to develop sufficient intelligence to
communicate with mollusks, that remains something they know and
we don't.

I'm pretty sure they don't much like any of the alternatives.

It does strike me as odd that we humans think about the oysters'
feelings as we eat them alive, while mollusks are not burdened
with such considerations for their own prey. Ain't life wierd?

I would expect that the kindliest way would be the quickest way.
At least, that's how I want to go.
