LARGE SHELLS

Well it is in some ways it is all a bit relative, whereas many of these groupings
have cognate species that will be some what similar in there max size.
.. sticking with Gastropods (and picking only one from a family)

1) The clear winner for # 1 is: Syrinx auranus
2) Pick a bailer: Melo amphora / beckii / broderipi / umbilicatus
3-5) All of these guys will give you a max size run for your money between each
other.
a - Busycon contrarium / sinistrum / perversum
b - Triplofusus gigantea / Turbonella (Xancus) angulatum
c - Cassis cornuta / madagascariensis
d - Strombus goliath would far out size Strombus gigas
e - and trailing last Charonia tritonis

..This and $4.50 will get you a cup of coffee at Star Bucks!
Leslie
