Hello all,


Cypraea midwayensis has been collected in the Pacific at several
locations by the MNHN. New Caledonia among others. In the
Philippines, 2 dead shells (one is the WRS) from Balut Island, one
dead and one alive from Balicasag Island. The shell is apparently
present everywhere in the 400-500 m zone. It also has most probably a
difficult to access habitat, as most shells are collected dead.
Possibly it lives hidden in deep crevices a.o..//
